Development Milestones 47 台灣研究中心開幕 中文大學台灣研究中心於 2012 年 4 月 11 日 開幕，是國際上為數不多的專門從事台灣 研究的學術機構，並會與台灣學術機構建 立交流，促進學術及文化合作。 該中心由許焯權教授（右一）出任主任， 中心的宗旨與目的包括：設立台灣研究的 專題和項目；組織學術會議、演講及工作 坊；聯絡及支援參與中心項目及活動的港 台學者和研究員；公布研究成果及讓公眾 參與有關活動等。目前，中心的研究範疇包 括港台文學、歷史、哲學、文化及電影研究 等，中心亦將在文化管理、文物保育、都市 更生、文化發展政策以至文化創意產業等 方面，積極發展研究項目及合作計劃，推 動台灣研究，以增進兩岸三地的互動與交 流。 Taiwan Research Centre Opened on 11 April 2012, the Taiwan Research Centre at CUHK is one of the few academic organizations in the world dedicated to promoting Taiwan studies and to fostering collaboration with institutions in Taiwan for academic and cultural cooperation. With Prof. Desmond Hui (1st right) as its director, the CUHK Taiwan Research Centre has the aims and objectives of conducting research projects on Taiwan; organizing conferences, lectures and workshops; supporting researchers, scholars and students from Hong Kong and Taiwan; coordinating with its counterpart institutions from Taiwan and dissemination of research activities and results to the public. Current research topics and the forthcoming agenda of the centre include HK- Taiwan literature, history, philosophy, cultural and film studies. Areas in cultural management, cultural heritage conservation, urban regeneration, cultural development policy and cultural creative industries will also be developed and cultivated for bilateral research and collaboration in future.
