到尼泊爾露營 十六名晨興書院學生,在2014年5月 16日至24日參加該書院的服務學習計 劃,前往尼泊爾服務。他們在尼泊爾 郊外的塔丁區露營,體驗這個獨特和 充滿活力的地區所面臨的困難。這些 學生探訪當地學校,與教師交流,又 參觀當地診所和農舍,與在尼泊爾工 作的非政府組織領袖會面,同時協助 興建兩座社區活動中心。 Camping in Nepal Sixteen students of Morningside College travelled to Nepal from 16 to 24 May 2014 to perform service as part of Morningside’s Service Learning Course. The students camped in the Nepalese countryside in Dhading District as they learned about the challenges facing this unique and vibrant region. They visited the local schools and spoke to the teachers, observed a health clinic, visited a local farmhouse, and met with leaders from non-government organizations operating in Nepal, all the while contributing labour to the construction of two buildings which will be used for community activities. 大學研究成果服務社會 教學、研究及知識轉移是大學三大核 心工作。2014年3月1日,知識轉移處 以及研究事務處合併為新的研究及知 識轉移服務處,以提供一站式服務, 加強推動轉移研究成果的工作。今 年,該處的「知識轉移項目基金」共 為十九個項目提供經費,協助來自不 同專業學者之間的協作,以跨學科的 方式貢獻社會。 在技術授權和研究成果商品化方面, 中文大學今年簽訂的技術授權協議共 有六十一項,另外在全球不同國家提 交一百六十六項專利申請,一百三十 六項獲得批准。在研發成果商品化的 工作再次錄得驕人成績,僅知識產權 所產生的收益已達到四千二百五十萬 港元。 Contributing through Knowledge Transfer Teaching, research and knowledge transfer are the three missions of CUHK. To enhance services that are in line with the University’s knowledge transfer policies, the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) was established on 1 March 2014 following the merger of two administrative offices, namely, the Knowledge Transfer Office and the Research Administration Office. The new ORKTS provides a one- stop service for research development and transferring the outcomes outside the academia. The Knowledge Transfer Project Fund (KPF) administered by the ORKTS facilitates interdisciplinary community service projects by members from different Faculties.
