Δ On January 25,Professor Wa ng L i n g of Australia Na t i o n al Un i v e r s i ty visited N ew Asia College. He attended a tea reception of the College's Research I n s t i t u te and H i s t o ry De p a r t me n t in his honour. Professor Wa ng also gave a lecture on “ T h e H i s t o ry of Scientific De v e l o pme nt in C h i n a ”. Δ M i ss Na n cy Dana and M i ss M a r j o ry W i l l i ams, tutors in English, C h u ng Chi College, returned to H o n g K o n g in mid-January, 1967, after a brief visit i n the U n i t ed States. Δ Professor Nakane Fu k io of Asia Un i v e r s i t y, Japan, visited N ew Asia College on January 5. Δ M i ss L i n a Yan Ha u - Ye e, a second-year A r ts student and Social Conveno r of the Student U n i o n o f U n i t ed College, lef t for the U n i t ed States on January 10 to attend th e T e n t h Far East Student Leader Project c omme n c i ng on January 11. U n d er the Project, w h i c h is arranged by the Ame r i c an State De p a r t me n t, y o u ng student leader s f r om the Far East are i n v i t ed to visit certain Ame r i c an colleges and universities, to meet Ame r i c an student s and to take part in experimenting international living. M i ss Ya n is the first woman student f r om H o n g K o n g to participate in this Project this year. Δ D r . A A panel discussion on “Juvenile De l i n q u e n cy in H o n g K o n g ” , sponsored by the Sociology De p a r t me nt of U n i t ed College, was held in the College Ha ll on January 7, 1967.
