He then pursued further studies a t the Free University o f West Berlin under a scholarship grant of the German Academic Exchange Service ( D A A D ) , obtaining his M . A . degree i n 1965 and his Dr.rer.pol. i n 1968. During this period h e worked a s teaching an d research assistant i n Institut f u r Theorie de r Wirtschaftspolitik, th e Free University o f West Berlin. Dr. Chai assumed duty a s Lecturer i n Economics a t ChungChi College i n August 1968. Miss Lam Mei Yee, Administrative Assistant (picture i n Chinese section) Miss Lam Mei Yee was born i n Hong Kong in 1942. Upon he r graduation in 1960 from Belilios Public School, sh e studied Form V I a t Maryknoll Sisters School. Sh e entered United College i n 1964 a s a second-year student o f Sociology, and obtained a B.S.Sc. degree i n 1967. Miss Lam joined the Secretariat fo r Chinese Affairs (now Secretariat fo r Home Affairs) o f the Hong Kong Government a s a Liaison Officer fo r nine months, and was then appointed Administrative Assistant o f the University Appointments Service. COMINGS AND GOINGS • A piano recital was presented a t Chung Chi College Chapel on 8th March by Prof. Jose Kahan, Mexican pianist, under th e joint auspices o f th National Autonomous University o f Mexico and this University. • Prof. Rayson L . Huang, Vice-Chancellor o f Nanyang University, gave a talk on his University, illustrated with colour slides, for students, staff and graduates o f this University a t the City Hall, Hong Kong on 29th March . 8
