Matriculation Results Of the 3,917 candidates who sat for this year's Matriculation Examination, 1,727 passed, representing 44.09% of the total. Interviews for admission to the Foundation Colleges were conducted from 15th July to 17th July. GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATION ON CUHK COMMITTEE Mr. P.V. Shawe, Director of Building Development, Public Works Department , has been appointed the Government's representative on the Campus Planning and Building Committee of the University. PERSONALIA CUHK Staff on Government Committees Dr. S.T. Tsou, Senior Lecturer, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Head of the Mathematics Department, United College , has been appointed by His Excellency the Governor to serve on the Transport Advisory Committee under the Chairmanship of the Hon. W. Szeto, for the period from 17th July to 30th November, 1969. Rev. Fr. John F. Jones, Lecturer in Social Work, United College, has been appointed by His Excellency the Governor to serve on the Advisory Committee on Social Work Training. The function of the Committee is to advise on the promotion and co-ordination of training for social work at all levels. — 8 —
