Chen, Director o f Centre fo r East Asian Studies, attended th e 6t h Congress o f the International Association o f Historians o f Asia held a t Jogjakarta ， Indonesiafrom 26th t o 30th August. Dr . Chen presented a paper “ O n th e Various Editions o f th e Da i Viet Su K y Toan Th u (The Complete Dynastic History o f Great Viet)". COL LEGE NEWS * Th e Music Department o f Chung Ch i College published th e first catalogue o f th e holdings i n it s Archives o f Chinese music. Th e Archives wa s initiated b y a grant from th e Commission fo r the Advancement o f Christian Higher Education i n Asia an d is no w on e o f th e largest collections o f materials o n Chinese music i n th e world, containing items from China ， Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea, th e United States, an d Europe, * Ne wAsia College held it s 23rd graduation ceremony fo r it s undergraduate departments an d 18th graduation ceremony fo r it s Research Institute on 1s t July, 1974 . * Th e Geography Department o f United College held a n exhibition o n "Transportation Problems" a t St . Mary's Canossian College from 13th t o 15t h August. * A t th e invitation o f th e Society o f International Economics an dCommerce o f th e University of Hong Kong, Dr . Kueh Yak-yeow, Lecturer i n Economics a t Ne w Asia College, presided over a seminar o n ‘‘Prospects o f Trade between Hong Kong and China" o n 29th August.
