Professorial Appointments Prof. Hau Kit-tai has been appointed Professor of Educational Psychology from 1 August 2007. Prof. Anil T. Ahuja has been appointed Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Organ Imaging from 1 August 2007. Prof. Michael Bond has been awarded by the University Council the title of Emeritus Professor of Psychology with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Lau Siu Kai has been awarded by the University Council the title of Emeritus Professor of Sociology with effect from 1 July 2007. Emeritus Professors Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung, Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics, has been appointed by the University Council as Head of Shaw College for a period of four years from 11 February 2008, succeeding Prof. Ching Pak-chung.
