Prof. Benjamin Tsui Serves as Chung Chi Visiting Fellow C hung Chi College has invited Prof. Benjamin M.W. Tsui to serve as Siu Lien Ling Wong Visiting Fellow 2007–08. Prof. Tsui is a Chung Chi physics graduate from the '70s. He is currently the director of the Division of Medical Imaging Physics of John Hopkins University. Prof. Tsui visited the College from 20 January to 2 February. He addressed the theme 'Advances and Challenges in Contemporary Biomedical Sciences' in the highlight event—the Annual Education Conference of the College on 26 January. Prof. Hsu Cho-yun on Ancient China Core Culture C hung Chi College, New Asia College and the Department of History jointly hosted the 'Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History' in November 2007. Prof. Hsu Cho-yun, Professor Emeritus at the University of Pittsburgh and academician of the Academia Sinica, Taiwan, was the first speaker and shared his view on the formation of core cultural areas in ancient China . Former UC Head Prof. T.C. Chen on Life O ver 1,300 students attended the Professor T.C. Chen Lecture, held by United College on 28 March 2008. Prof. T.C. Chen, a former head of the College, spoke on 'The Path to be Taken', quoting important theories and examples to provoke students' reflection on their life path.
