22   Chinese University Bulletin No. 1, 2009 The Campus Still Cares O n the evening of 2 April 2009, to the accompaniment of orchestral music and the liturgical sounds of a pipe organ punctuated by ethereal plucks of the harp, singing wafted out from Chung Chi College Chapel and rippled across CUHK campus. It was the annual concert of Chung Chi Choir, an event dedicated to raising funds for rehabilitation services for Sichuan earthquake victims. Some 160 members from the choir and guest choirs sang the poignant Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. ‘This event is held not only in memory of the lives lost, but also to express our concern about the well- being of the survivors,’ said Rev. Dr. Ng Wai-man Andrew, Chung Chi College Chaplain. The 600 people in the audience were all touched.
