The Professorial Inaugural Lecture Series (website: http://www.cuhk.edu. hk/p uo/pro f/index.htm) carries the full text of the in augural lectu res of the University’s chair professors. From 2000 onwards the series has been published only in electronic format. The Wei Lun Lecture Series (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/puo/weilun/ index.htm) carries the text of lectures given by Wei Lun Visiting Professors to the Univer sity since 1991. The CUHK Newsletter (website: http://www.cu hk.edu .hk/puo /newslter/ news.htm) is published on a fortnightly basis and carries University news, announcements,personalia, aswellas interviews and feature articles. It is primarily intended for staff members of the University. Facts andFigures (website :http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/puo/facts/home.htm) is published in the form of pamphlets in spring each year to capture the essence of the University’s latest statistical information. Apart fr om these pu blications, the Publication Office also maintain s a Database on Staff Community Service and Service to CUHKwhich, at present, is only available for internal reference. Th e Univ ersity ’s un der graduate and po stg rad uate pro grammes and regulations are compiled by the University Registry and published annually. Information about research activities and staff publications is contained in an ann ual publication entitled Resea rch Projects and Publications (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/rtao/research/rpp0001/publicat.htm) compiled by the Un iversity’s Resear ch and Techn olo gy Administr ation Of fice. Staff Association of The Chinese University of Hong Kong The Staf f Association of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUSA) is a trade union registered with the government. Its membership is open to all full- time non-teaching staff employed by the Univer sity under Terms o f Services (A), (B) and (C), irrespective of race,sex, religion and rank. Founded in 1981, the association has the following objectives: • to obtain and maintain just conditions of employment; • to protect the interest of its members; • to strengthen relations with the University authorities on the basis of mutual respect and understanding;
