The University 81 Kong Base of Research, Development and Training of the National Remote Sensing Centre of China. These centres play a very important role in promoting high-standard scientific research and enhancing collaborative relationship among the partners. The University, together with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has also solicited support from business enterprises to set up the Shanghai–Hong Kong–Anson Research Foundation for CAS and CUHK in Molecular Biosciences. With support from various foundations, the University organizes conferences related to academic development and social changes which are attended by renowned scholars the world over. The University is actively involved in providing training and consultancy services to governmental agencies and the business community on the mainland. Both regular and tailor-made courses are offered. In response to the rapid economic growth of the mainland and the need for high calibre business executives, the University has launched an MBA Programme in Finance in cooperation with Tsinghua University, a joint EMSc Programme in Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with Tsinghua University’s Graduate School in Shenzhen, a Master of Professional Accountancy Programme with the Shanghai National Accounting Institute, and a Master Programme in Psychology, and a Master of Accountancy Programme with Peking University. The University’s Beijing Liaison Office, located on the campus of Peking University, provides logistics support to exchange activities conducted by University members and helps enhance cooperation with mainland institutions.
