Requirements of the participating department MA Programme in Women’s Studies This programme aims to teach students the basic theories of women’s studies and to equip them with essential analytical tools for understanding gender issues. It will familiarize them with the analysis of gender role construction and its importance in shaping human behaviour, social development and public policy. The curriculum is designed to provide a broad base of understanding for individuals who have little or no prior exposure to women’s studies in their undergraduate training.
