Lo, dean of education, has been appointed a member of the Board of Education by HE the Governor from 1991 to 30th June 1993. • Prof. Kuan Hsin-chi, professor of government and public administration, has been appointed a member of the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong by HE the Governor for three years. • Dr. Richard M. W. Ho, lecturer in Chinese language and literature, has been appointed an adjudicator of the Immigration Tribunal by HE the Governor from 1st July 1991 to 28th February 1993. • Prof. Yeung Yue-man, professor of geography, has been appointed a member of the Metro Planning Committee from 18th July 1991 to 31st March 1992. - Prof. Allan M. Z. Chang, professor of obstetrics and gynaecology, has been reappointed a member of the Midwives Board of Hong Kong for three years from 5th September 1991. • Prof. Andrew Parkin, professor of English, has been appointed a member of the advisory board of the Research Centre for the International Study of Literatures in English at Karl-Franzens-Universitat, Austria. • Dr. P.Y. Tsao, lecturer in music, served as the artistic adviser to the Urban Council for the concert performances held in support of the 31st World Conference of the International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) in July 1991.
