A ll are welcome. The 41st Anniversary of Chung Chi College The 41st Founders' Day Thanksgiving Service of Chung Chi College will be held in the college chapel on Friday, 30th October 1992. Dr. Philemon Yuen-wan Choi, general secretary of Breakthrough Limited, w i ll address the assembly on that day. To mark the event, the college's student union has organized a series of activities including a race round the campus, debates, a departmental singing contest and group singing contests. The Founders' Day Dinner will be held at the Lingnan Stadium in the evening. Service to the Community and International Organizations • Prof. K. J. Sellick of the Department of Nursing has been appointed by HE the Governor as a member of the Hosp i t al Authority from 15th August 1992 to 30th November 1993. • Prof. Leung Ping-chung of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology has been appointed by HE the Governor as chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Council for three years from 22nd August 1992. • Prof. Owen L l o yd of the Department of Community and Family Medicine has been appointed by HE the Governor as a member of the Occupational Safety and Health Council for three years from 22nd August 1992. • Prof. Arthur K. C. Li, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, has been i nv i t ed by the L i ons K i dney Educational Centre and Research Foundation to serve as Honorary Adviser of the Lions Kidney Educational Centre for the year 1992-93. • Dr. Chan Wi n g - wah of the Department of Music has been appointed by the Secretary for Home Affairs to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music Fund for one year from 1st April 1992. • Prof. Rance P. L. Lee, dean of the Faculty of Social Science, has been i n v i t ed by the Pertanika Journal of Social Science and Humanities, Malaysia, to serve as a member of its International Advisory Panel for three years. • Dr. P. Y. Tsao, lecturer in music, has been appointed as visiting research fellow of the Research Centre of Music, Institute of Traditional Chinese Music, Beijing, from July 1992.
