宣布事項 ANNOUNCEMENTS 護理學系新網頁 Department of Nursing Homepage 護理學系的全新網頁已經面世，內有該系及護 理學課程的詳盡資料，有興趣者請到 http://www.cuhk. edu.hk/med/nur/index.htm 瀏覽。 The new homepage of the Department of Nursing has been loaded onto the campus network. Besides containing the most up-to-date information on the department and its programmes, the homepage also provides links to the university homepage. Feel free to visit their new website at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/ med/nur/index.htm. 學生及教職員健身課程 Fitness Training Courses for Staff and Students 體育部將於本年十二月至明年四月爲學生及敎 職員舉辦七項健身訓練課程，以介紹健身器材之正確 使用方法，以及重量訓練的槪念與方法。除課程「1/ 98」 以英語授課外，其餘皆以廣東話講授。上課地點 爲大學健身室。每班名額二十人，按報名先後取錄； 不足十人的班別將予取消，或與其他班別合倂。請攜 同報名費港幣十元及近照乙張，親臨大學體育中心收 借處報名。修畢課程之學員可獲發「大學健身室使用 證」乙張，而由一九九八年九月一日起，未持有該證 者將不能使用大學健身室之器材。課程詳情見右表。 The Physical Education Unit will organize seven physical fitness training courses for staff and students of the University every Wednesday and Friday (except public holidays) from 5th December 1997 to 17th April 1998 in the University weight training room. The courses will be conducted in Cantonese, with the exception of course 1/98 which will be conducted in English. Enrolment, limited to 20 persons per course, is on a first-come-first-served basis; courses wil l be cancelled or combined if enrolment falls below 10. A weight training room user card will be issued to participants. Please note that from 1st September 1998, only holders of the card are eligible to use the equipment in the University weight training room. Registration should be done in person at the reception counter of the University Sports Centre. Please bring HK$10 and a recent photo. It will reopen in April 1998. The exact reopening date will be announced in due course. 訃告 Ob i t uar y 建築處樓宇淸潔工人洪平先生於一九九 七年八月十九日辭世。洪先生自一九八零年 起加入本校服務。 Mr. Hung Ping, building cleaner at the Buildings Office, passed away on 19th August 1997- Mr. Hung first joined the University in 1980 Corrigendum With reference to the caption of the photo 'After 34 Years of Dedicated Service' on page 1 ofthe last issue (no. 115) of the newsletter, the University emblem was presented to Dr. Q.W. Lee on 7th October at a Council meeting, instead of on 23rd October. PolyU Alumni Search The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is searching for alumni whose records are not on its alumni database.
