Fee rebate has not been reflected. # 少於 0.005% Less than 0.005% 更改強積金僱員自願供款比率 Change of MPFS Employee Voluntary Contribution 強積金計劃成員可於每年四月一日及十月一日,更改「僱員自願性供款」之百分比。 成員如欲由二零零四年十月一日起改變該百分比,可向財務處薪津及公積金組 索取更改表格,或從財務處網頁 ( http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/bursary) 下載。填妥之表格須 於二零零四年九月二十日(星期一)前送達或傳真(二六零三七八九零)至財務處薪津 及公積金組。 查詢或索取表格,請與該組聯絡(內線七二三六或七二五一)。 Please be reminded that members of the Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme (MPFS) can change the nominated percentage of the MPFS Employee Voluntary Contribution twice a year. The changes will be effective on the first day of April and October each year. MPFS members who wish to change the percentage of the employee voluntary contribution effective from 1st October 2004 should complete the Arrangement for/Change of Voluntary Contribution for Employee Form which can be downloaded from the Bursary website at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/bursary o r obtained from the Payroll and Superannuation Unit of the Bursary. The completed form should be sent to the Payroll and Superannuation Unit of the Bursary by mail or fax (26037890) on or before 20th September 2004 (Monday). For enquiries, please contact the Payroll and Superannuation Unit at 2609 7236 or 2609 7251. 學生工讀計劃 Student Campus Work Scheme 2004-2005 學生工讀計劃二零零四至二零零五年度基金現已接受申請,詳情如下: 讓有經濟需要的本地學生利用課餘時間,協助教職員進行研究或處理其 他工作,獲取報酬。 工作性質:(一)協助大學教員從事研究工作。 (二)協助各行政單位在繁忙期間的工作。 (三)其他工讀計劃委員會批准的工作。 報酬: 由學生工讀計劃委員會每年檢討,去年度工讀生(本科生及研究生)的報 酬為每小時五十港元。 申請辦法:申請表格已發送給各部門及行政單位主管。教職員可向其所屬部門或單 位索取申請表格,填妥後寄回范克廉樓一樓學生事務處學生工讀計劃委 員會秘書,截止申請日期為二零零四年十月四日。 備往: (一)所有撥款只可用作支付香港中文大學工讀生薪酬。 (二)學生不能連續工作四星期,而每星期工作須在十八小時以下。 (三)學生的每段受僱期不能超過五十九日,而在每段受僱期之間須最少 暫停工作一個月。 (四)所有撥款須於二零零五年九月三十日前全數支付。 (五)獲資助之教職員須於二零零五年十月三十一日前擬就報告,經學生 事務處學生工讀計劃委員會秘書轉送有關捐助機構。 Applications for grants under the Student Campus Work Scheme are now invited from members of the academic and administrative staff. Aim: To help local needy students by providing opportunities for paid campus work, in the form of rendering assistance to University academics/administrators in their projects. Nature of work: a) To assist academic staff in their research projects. b)To assist administrative staff in projects which require a large task-force on a short-term basis. c) Any other job assignments as may be approved by the Committee on Student Campus Work Scheme. Remuneration: Remuneration for undergraduates and postgraduates is at HK$50/hour for 2003-4 (subject to review annually by the Committee on Student Campus Work Scheme) Application: Application forms have been sent to the heads of departments and administrative units. Staff members who are interested in applying should obtain application forms from their offices and return the completed application forms to the Secretary, Committee on Student Campus Work Scheme, c/o Office of Student Affairs, 1/F, Benjamin Franklin Centre no later than 4th October 2004. Remarks: a) Approved funds should only be used as remuneration for students of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. b) Students will not be allowed to work for 18 hours or more in any one week for four weeks or more. c) The duration of each engagement should not exceed 59 days. There should be a break of service for at least one month between each engagement as a student helper in the University. d) Approved funds should be expended in full before 30th September 2005. e) Supervisors of approved projects will be requested to forward a report on their projects to the Secretary, Committee on Student Campus Work Scheme, c/o Office of Student Affairs by 31st October 2005, for onward transmission to the donors for information. 預防肝炎運動 Hepatitis Awareness Campaign 保健處將於十月四至十五日舉辦預防肝炎運動,在保健醫療中心展出有關肝炎 的資料,提供健康諮詢服務,為教職員及其家屬和學生檢驗肝炎抗原及抗體,並為 有需要者注射疫苗。梁慧儀醫生於十月十三日下午一至二時主講「肝炎新知」。 甲型肝炎因進食受污染的食物或喝了不潔的水而受感染,通常可自動康復,沒 有長期影響,只不過,康復期可以長達數月。保健處建議下述人士注射甲型肝炎疫 苗:未滿三十歲者,來自西方國家的居港者,以及高危者(包括經常外遊者、小兒護 理工作者、渠務人員)。 4 No. 244 4th September 2004
