管理簡報會 大學於一月二十一日在崇基教職 員聯誼會舉行管理簡報會，由 校長、副校長和協理副校長概 述大學發展的進程和願景， 約有一百六十名高級職員 出席。與會者並為南亞 海嘯死難者及失踪的中 大物理系羅蔭權教授 一家默哀一分鐘。 會後晚宴，有多 個遊戲和歌唱表演， 以促進同人之問的交 誼 逸夫院慶暨守仁雅座命名典禮 逸夫書院上月七日舉行第十九屆院慶典禮，由行政 會議成員兼立法會議員陳智思先生主持，出席嘉 賓約二百五十人。書院為慶祝成立十九周年，於國楙樓 平台興建露天茶座，供師生休憩，以促進校園生活。茶 座獲書院校董、香港泉州慈善促進總會主席陳守仁博士 慷 慨 資 助 興 建 ， 故 命 名 為 「 守 仁雅 座」。命名典禮於同日舉行，由陳智 思先生和陳守仁博士主持。 另，位於國楙樓地下的逸夫書院 學生會新會室，於一月二十一日正式 啟用。主禮嘉賓為（下圖左起）書院學 生輔導主任侯傑泰教授、學生會幹事 長陳民生先生、院長程伯中教授、何 香蘭女士和金佩瑋女士。 新亞獲贈一百萬元 新亞書院於一月七日的雙週會舉行「成功慈善基 金 會 」 一 百 萬 港 元 捐 贈 儀 式 ， 由 基 金 會 創辦 人、新亞校董黃偉慶先生（左一）致送支票，新亞校 董會副主席梁英偉先生（右二）和院長黃乃正教授（右 一 ) 代表接受。主禮嘉賓為行政會議成員陳智思先生 (左三），保險業監理專員袁銘輝先生（右三）和助理 專員林家泰先生（左二）。 聯合萌芽演説家訓練計劃 聯合書院本學期開展「聯合書院萌 芽演說家訓練計劃」，為學生提 供演說訓練，首個演講示範會於一月八 日舉行，獲國際演講會（ Toastmasters I n t e r n a t i o n a l ) 香港分區代表陳益祿女 士和黃重生先生，以及書院計劃顧問劉 行榕教授、孔憲煇博士、黃鉅鴻先生、 Ms. Tessa Stewart 和吳秀珊女士協助， 有五十多名學生參加。 一連八節的演說訓練講座則於一 月十三日起舉辦。該院期望於本年暑 期正式成立聯合書院國際演講會。 醫學院慈善行 賑濟海嘯災民 醫學院逾三百名師生、校友和家 屬 響 應 「 醫 護 界 賑 災 山 頂 行」，為南亞海嘯災民慈善步行籌 款。活動由立法會醫護界議員和七 個醫護組織發動，於一月九日在山 頂舉行，共有逾千人參加，籌得超 過一百萬港元。 中大通訊 CUHK NEWSLETTER 網址 website http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/puo/ 1. 本刊逢四日及十九日出版。 2. 來函或投稿請寄沙田香港中文大學秘書處出版事務處《中大通訊》 編輯部（電話 2609 8584 ，傳真 2603 6864 ， 電郵 pub2@uab.msmail . cuhk.edu.hk )。 3. 投稿者須附真實姓名、地址及聯絡電話，文章則可用筆名發表。 4. 編輯有權刪改及決定是否刊登來稿，不欲稿件被删者請預先聲明。 5. 本刊所載文章只反映作者之觀點和意見，並不代表校方或本刊立場。 6. 所有內容未經編者書面准許，不得轉載。 7. 本刊每期發行三千八百份，免費供校內教職員索閱，部分郵寄本地教 育機構及與大學有關人士。私人索閱，請致函本刊查詢。 1.
