宣 布 事 項 ANNONCEMENTS 墨西哥電影欣賞 Mexican Night 藝術行政主任辦公室與墨西哥駐香港總領事館本月二十六日合辦墨西哥電影欣 賞，於晚上八時在邵逸夫堂放映得獎名片 A Beautifu l Secret (Un Secreto de Esperanza) ， 歡迎觀看，免費門票已於九月十二日起在邵逸夫堂票房派發。 電影片長一百三十分鐘，西班牙語，設英文字幕。導演為 Leopoldo Laborde ，主 要演員有 Katy Jurado, Imanol Landeta, Ana de l a Reguera, Jaime Aymerich, Maria Karunna, Roberto Cobo, Amparo Garrido。Jaime Aymerich 會於電影放畢後與觀眾交流，大會並 供應墨西哥小吃。 為配合電影播放，大學賓館餐廳當晚由六時半起特別供應墨西哥晚餐，由墨西哥 廚師 Ricardo Alanis 指導烹調。墨西哥晚餐只限教職員會所會員享用，查詢收費及留 座請電二六零三六二零二。 There will be a screening of A Beautiful Secret(Un Secreto deEsperanza), a n award-winning movie by Mexican director Leopoldo Laborde, at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall at 8.00 p.m. on 26th September. The screening will be followed by a meet-the-artist session featuring Jaime Aymerich, the leading actor. Mexican snacks will be served. Free tickets are available at the box office of the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. The event is organized by the Office of the Art s Administrator and th e Consulate General of Mexico, Hong Kong. To promote another aspect of Mexican culture, a Mexican dinner, concocted under the instruction of Mexican chef Mr. Ricardo Alanis, will be served in the SCR Clubhouse at 6.30 p.m. before the screening. The dinner is open to SCR members only. Pre-vaccination blood tests, optional for Hepatitis A and require d for Hapatitis B, will be available on 6th and 7th October 2005, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.3 0 p.m., and from 2.00 to 4.30 p.m., at HK$100 per test. Vaccinations ar e available from 9.00 a.m. to 12.3 0 p.m. and from 2.00 to 4.30 p.m., on 13th and 14th October for the first dose. Vaccinations for Hepatitis A come in two doses at HK$225 pe r dose while those for Hepatitis B come in three doses at HK$70 per dose. H e taught at many prestigious universities acros s China, spending his fina l years at Zhongshan University, Guangzhou. In a lifetime spent researching inscriptions on oracle bones, bronzes and steles, he produced voluminous academic publications and amassed a sizable and important collection of ink rubbings from these subjects. Recently, Prof. Shang's descendants donated the entire family collection of rubbings to the Ar t Museum. This exhibition therefore, not only commemorates Prof. Shang's scholarship but also honours the generosity of his family . The rubbings are as rich as extensive, with a great variety of pictorial images taken from bronzes, stones and bricks, as wel l as inscriptions from epitaphs, steles, tiles, seals, potteries and coins. The highlights include two-dimensional rubbings of bronze vessels, rubbings of steles from the Xi'an Stel e Forest, and epitaphs o f the Wang and Xie family burial site in Nanjing, which date from the Eastern Jin dynasty. Meantime, i n the East-wing Gallerie s o f the museum, the exhibition 'Shimmerin g Colours: Monochromes of the Yua n to Qing Periods - Th e Zhuyuetang Collection' wil l be extended to 16t h October. It will be followed by the exhibition 'Eleganc e in Relief: Carved Porcelain from Jingdezhen of the 19t h to early 20th Centuries', which will ope n on 27th October.
