Changes in appearance and structure include clear display of the Renditions brand name, a more effective user-interface, and clarification of the navigation bar, adding new items including contacts, a site map and credits page. The distinction between the functions of the index and the database is also much clearer. Changes in content on the Renditions website include an expanded index and database of Chinese literature in English translation published in the magazine and Renditions books. The new index and database include for the first time the Chinese characters for titles and authors of translated works and individual items from Renditions paperbacks and hardbacks. New features on the Renditions and the RCT sites include updated information on the background and history of the Centre and its publications. To foster closer relationship with alumni and friends in the United States, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation, Inc. has been established in the US. All donations to the foundation benefiting CUHK are tax deductible in the US. The University is currently now working out the foundation’s operation details which will soon be announced. Meanwhile support for the foundation is welcomed.
