第 307 期 2007 年 11 月 19 日 No. 307 19 November 2007 崇 基學院校史檔案館舉辦興校建築檔案展,展示 學院由1956年遷入馬料水校園至60年代的建築 發展,作為56周年校慶的活動之一。 該展覽名為「樸雅融文照海山–崇基興校建築檔案 展」,於10月26日揭幕,主禮嘉賓為崇基學院榮譽院 務委員鄺廣傑榮休大主教、崇基學院校董會副主席利 德蓉醫生、院長梁元生教授、校史檔案展覽工作小組 召集人莫凱教授及中大建築學系副教授顧大慶教授。 展覽由兩個部分組成:「經典重溫」透過五六十年代 珍貴的建築檔案、相片及畫作等,重現崇基早期樸實 雅致的校園環境,「宏圖再現」則介紹早期校園的建 築及建設的演變,重點展品是由仁社校友送贈的早期 校園模型。 I n commemoration of the 56th anniversary of Chung Chi College, the College archive staged an exhibition on ‘Chung Chi Original Campus and Buildings in the 1960’s’. The exhibition showed the development of the Chung Chi campus during the period from 1957 to the 1960s. The opening ceremony took place on 26 October 2007. It was officiated by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Peter Kwong, honorary fellow of Chung Chi College; Dr. Deanna Lee Rudgard, vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College; Prof. Leung Yuen-sang, head of the College; Prof. Victor Mok, convenor of the Working Group on the College Archive Exhibitions; and Prof. Gu Daqing of the Department of Architecture. The exhibition is divided into two sections. Part 1 features historical documents, photographs and paintings of the early campus buildings. The official opening ceremony of the centre is scheduled for early next year. With the establishment of the centre, the existing sports and health sciences- related laboratories and facilities in the two universities will be reorganized into 14 units (7 units in each university). The role of the centre will be to provide high-quality clinical services to pro- fessional and amateur sportsmen, to enhance knowledge and training in sports medicine and sports health for professional medical staff, and to promote exercise for health in the community and to conduct research. The Centre will also offer professional support to major sporting events 中大理大獲撥款成立健康科學中心 CUHK and HKPU Receive Funding to Set Up a Health Sciences Centre including the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Equestrian Events, the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong, and the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou. It will provide clinical support and performance enhancement services to some 3,300 elite athletes from Hong Kong and mainland China in the coming three years.
