第 313 期 2008 年 3 月 4 日 No. 313 4 March 2008 中科院院士訪中大　主持首屆院士講座系列 First Academicians Lecture Series 中 國科學院（中科院）五位院士，聯同該院院 士工作局馬揚局長、港澳台事務辦公室張興 根主任，以及生命科學和醫學學部辦公室王澍主任 組成訪問團，1月28日蒞臨中大訪問六天，並主持本 校首屆院士講座系列。 講座於2月1日假祖堯堂舉行，中科院的動物研究所 劉以訓院士、昆明植物研究所孫漢董院士、上海生 命科學研究院生物化學與細胞生物學研究所張永蓮 透視三三四學制改革 Perspectives of 3 + 3+4 Education Reform 由 中大社會學系、港美中心及香港城市大學 合辦的「從亞洲視野看香港三三四學制改 革」論壇，已於1月10日舉行，吸引了逾百位來自 大學教育資助委員會資助院校及其他機構的教育工 作者參與。 T he Forum on HK’s 3+3+4 Education Reforms in Asian Regional Perspective, organized by the CUHK Sociology Department, the Hong Kong America Center (HKAC), and the City University, was held on 10 January. Over 100 educators from all UGC-funded and other institutions participated in the event. Prof. Wong Suk-ying and Prof. Kim Doo-hwan of the Department of Sociology organized the forum with Dr. Glenn Shive of the HKAC. Mr. Po Chung, chairman emeritus of DHL International Ltd., supported the forum as part of his generous contribution to the Fulbright— Hong Kong General Education project. Keynote speakers, including Dr. Barbara Schneider, Michigan State University, Dr. Anthony Tam, Academia Sinica in Taiwan, and Dr. Chang Duk-jin, Seoul National University, described to colleagues changes in the articulation from school to university, and from university to the world of work in the USA, Taiwan and Korea. The five academicians including Prof. Liu Yixun (Institute of Zoology, CAS), Prof. Sun Handong (Kunming Institute of Botany, CAS), Prof. Zhang Yonglian (Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS), Prof. Zhao Guoping (Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS), and Prof. Ju Gong (Institute of Neurosciences, Fourth Military Medical University), delivered public lectures on 1 February.
