Chan has been elected by the Assembly of Fellows of Shaw College as a member of the Council for a period of three years from 1 August 2008, succeeding Prof. Hau Kit-tai. 新任副校長 New Pro-Vice-Chancellor 許敬文教授獲委任為大學副校長，任期兩年，由2009年1月1日起生效。 Prof. Michael K.M. Hui has been appointed as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for a period of two years from 1 January 2009. 續任副校長 Reappointment of Pro-Vice-Chancellor 鄭振耀教授再度獲委任為大學副校長，任期兩年，由2008年10月1日起生效。 Prof. Jack C.Y. Cheng has been reappointed as Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University for a period of two years from 1 October 2008. 新任協理副校長 New Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor 自動化與計算機輔助工程學講座教授兼校長助理（內地事務）徐 揚生教授，獲委以兼任方式為協理副校長，任期三年，由2008年 8月1日起生效。 Prof. Xu Yangsheng, Professor of Automation and Computer-Aided Engineering and concurrently Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor (Mainland Affairs), has been appointed as Associate Pro-Vice- Chancellor on a concurrent basis for a period of three years from 1 August 2008. 新任書院院長 New College Master 中大外科講座教授劉允怡教授獲委任為和聲書院候任院長，由 2008年6月25日起生效。劉教授為中國科學院院士及國際知名肝膽 胰外科專家。 Prof. Lau Wan-yee Joseph, Professor of Surgery, has been appointed as master-designate of Lee Woo Sing College from 25 June 2008. He is a world-renowned expert on hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 續任書院院長 Reappointment of College Head 歷史學講座教授梁元生教授再度獲委任為崇基學院院長，任期三年，由2008年8月1日起生 效。 Prof. Leung Yuen-sang, Professor of History, has been reappointed as head of Chung Chi College for three years from 1 August 2008. 新任學院院長 New Faculty Deans 法律學院李福善法律學講座教授兼學院主任Prof. Mike McConville 獲委任為法律學院首任院長，任期三年，由2008年8月1日起生效。 Prof. Mike McConville, Simon F. S. Li Professor of Law, has been appointed as the first dean of the Faculty of Law for a period of three years from 1 August 2008 會計學講座教授黃德尊教授獲委任為工商管理學院院長，由 2008年8月1日起生效。 Prof. Wong Tak-jun, Professor of Accountancy, has been appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Business Administration from 1 August 2008. 續任學院院長 Reappointment of Faculty Dean 李少南教授再度獲委任為社會科學院院長，由2008年8月1日起生效。 Prof. Paul S.N. Lee has been reappointed as the dean of the Faculty of Social Science from 1 August 2008. 教務長 Registrar 教務處處長吳樹培先生，獲委以兼任方式出任大學教務長，任期由 2008年8月1日起至2010年3月25日。 Mr. Eric S.P. Ng, director of Registry Services, has been appointed as Registrar of the University concurrently with his appointment as director of Registry Services for the period from 1 August 2008 to 25 March 2010. 榮休講座教授 Emeritus Professor 辛世文教授獲頒生物學榮休講座教授名銜，由2008年8月1日起生 效。 Prof. Samuel. S.M. Sun has been awarded the title of Emeritus Professor of Biology with effect from 1 August 2008. 郭克倫教授獲頒醫學榮休講座教授名銜，由2008年8月1日起生效。 Prof. Clive Stewart Cockram has been awarded the title of Emeritus Professor of Medicine with effect from 1 August 2008. 新任講座教授 Professorial Appointments 大學委任趙國屏教授為微生物學講座教授，由2008年6月27日起 生效。 趙教授於1982年獲復旦大學微生物學學士，1990年獲美國普度大 學生物化學博士，2005年當選為中國科學院院士。 趙教授為復旦大學生命科學學院微生物與微生物工程系教授及系 主任、國家人類基因組南方研究中心執行主任，以及中國科學院上 海生命科學研究院植物生理生態研究所學術委員會主席。 Prof. Zhao Guoping has been appointed Professor of Microbiology with effect from 27 June 2008. Prof. Zhao received his BSc from Fudan University in 1982 and his PhD from Purdue University in1990. He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. Prof. Zhao has served as professor and director of Department of Microbiology and Microbial Engineering, School of Life Science, Fudan University; executive director of Chinese National Human Genome Center at Shanghai, and chairman of the Academic Committee, Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 大學委任梁其姿教授為歷史學講座教授，由2008年8月1日起生效。 梁教授於1975年獲香港大學文學士，並在1980年於法國Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales 取得歷史學哲學博士學位。 她曾於台灣清華大學及台灣大學任教，加入中大前為中央研究院歷 史語言研究所研究員，以及蔣經國基金國際學術交流基金會副執行 長。 Prof. Leung Ki-che Angela has been appointed Professor of History with effect from 1 August 2008. Prof. Leung received her BA from the University of Hong Kong in 1975 and then obtained her PhD in History from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in 1980. Prof. Leung had taught at National Tsing-Hua University and National Taiwan University.
