Members who want to make the switch on 1 October 2010 should complete the Election Form for Change of MPF Scheme and the Membership Enrolment Form for the new scheme, and submit to the Payroll and Superannuation Unit of Bursary on or before 27 August 2010. Forms can be downloaded from www.cuhk.edu.hk/bursary/eng/public/payroll_benefits/mpf.html or obtained from the unit (Tel: 2609 7246). 非教學僱員績效評核和發展制度 Performance Review and Development System (PRDS) for Non-teaching Staff 2009 至 10年度（即2009年7月1日至2010年6月30日）的非教學僱員績效評核現已展開。 評核員請於 https://perntc.per.cuhk.edu.hk/personnel 下載已更新的評核報告表格 （2010年6月更新），並細閱表格第四頁之必須注意事項。評核員填寫評核報告及作評核 晤談前，宜於上述網站閱覽《績效評核和發展指引》及《績效評核和發展（PRD）周期流 程表》。是次績效評核須於2010年9月完成。 有關績效評核和發展制度詳情，可向人事處查詢。 The 2009–10 review exercise under PRDS (applicable to all full-time non-teaching appointees), for the period from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010, now commences. Reviewers should download the updated Review Report (revised in June 2010) at https://perntc.per. cuhk.edu.hk/personnel for this review exercise. Special attention should be paid to the Important Points to Note on the said Report’s fourth page. Reviewers are also advised to read through the Performance Review and Development (PRD) Guide and the Flowchart on PRD Cycle at the same website, before completing the Review Report and meeting the reviewees. This review exercise should be completed by September 2010. Enquiries relating to the PRDS may be directed to the Personnel Office. 高錕教授郵票小型張 Stamp Sheetlet to Honour Prof. Charles K. Kao for being awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physics, Hongkong Post will issue a definitive stamp sheetlet and a souvenir booklet on 21 September 2010. Part of the proceeds from sales of the booklet will be donated to Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease Limited. New labels for the 2010–11 school year, valid from 1 October 2010, are ready for collection. Current label holders are required to return the old label when submitting the application for the new one. First-time applicants are required to produce their driving licences, vehicle registration documents and insurance policies (or photocopies) for verification when submitting the application. For privacy and security reasons, parking label renewal should be processed in person or through a designated representative. Please visit the Security Unit webpage www.cuhk.edu.hk/security_unit/eLabel.html for details and the application form. 訃告 Obituary 本校職員簡曼萍博士於2010年6月16日逝世，校方深致哀悼。 簡博士於2007年8月28日加入中大，擔任管理學系博士後研究員。 The University mourns the passing of Dr. Croft Kan Man-ping Lena on 16 June 2010. Dr. Croft joined the University as postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Management on 28 August 2007.
