4 No. 409, 19.12.2012 1976 2012 中 大頒授學位典禮於1976年首次在校內林蔭大道 舉行，為替畢業生及嘉賓遮陽擋雨，大學花了十 萬元訂製八幅帆布帳篷，在1978年起的畢業禮採用，成 為典禮的佈置特色。 I n 1976, the University held its Congregation for the Conferment of Degrees at the University Mall for the first time. To provide sun shade and shelter from rain, CUHK purchased eight large marquees at a cost of HK$100,000 in 1978. These marquees have become a permanent feature of the ceremony.
