468 • 4.12.2015 7 宣布事項 Announcements 大學校董 Council Members 孔美琪博士（右）獲監督依據《香港中文大學條例》規程11 第1（k）段指定，出任大學校董，任期三年，由2015年11月27日 起生效。孔博士是充滿熱誠的幼兒教育界先鋒，現為維多利亞 教育機構總校長，以及滬江維多利亞學校的副校監，亦是美國 Whittier College校董會成員。 鄭海泉博士獲監督依據《香港中文大學條例》規程11第1（k） 段指定，續任大學校董，任期六個月，由2015年10月24日起 生效。 Dr. Maggie Koong May-kay ( photo ) has been nominated by the Chancellor, in accordance with Statute 11.1(k) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance, as a Member of the Council for a period of three years with effect from 27 November 2015. Dr. Koong is a dedicated leader and advocate of early childhood education, and is currently the Chief Principal of Victoria Educational Organization and deputy supervisor of Victoria Shanghai Academy. She is also a Trustee of the Board of Trustees of Whittier College, USA. Dr. Vincent H.C. Cheng has been re-nominated by the Chancellor, in accordance with Statute 11.1(k) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance as a Member of the Council for a further period of six months from 24 October 2015. 仙工奇製：故宮博物院藏痕都斯坦玉器精品展 Heavenly Crafted: Selected Mughal Jades from the Palace Museum 中大文物館與故宮博物院聯合主辦的「仙工奇製：故宮博物院藏痕都斯坦玉器精品展」於 本年11月28日至明年2月28日在中國文化研究所文物館展廳II舉行。承蒙中大文物館館友 會贊助，故宮博物院惠允，中大文物館從北京故宮博物院四百餘件相關藏品中，借展四十 件印度莫臥兒王朝玉器精品來港展出。這是香港乃至內地的第一個相關的專題展覽，絕大 部分展品從未展出或出版。 展覽旨在揭示莫臥兒王朝玉器藝術的成就，其與中亞、中國玉雕藝術的淵源和相互影響， 以及清代仿莫臥兒王朝玉器的辨析。 The Art Museum of CUHK and Beijing’s Palace Museum jointly present the exhibition ‘Heavenly Crafted: Selected Mughal Jades from the Palace Museum’ from 28 November 2015 to 28 February 2016 in Gallery II of the Art Museum, Institute of Chinese Studies. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Friends of the Art Museum, CUHK, the Art Museum borrowed 40 of the 400 pieces of Mughal jade from the Palace Museum collection to mount a special exhibition in Hong Kong. This is the first special exhibition on the subject in Hong Kong and mainland China, and most of the pieces have never been exhibited or published before. The exhibition is aimed at revealing the artistic achievement of the Mughal jades, their origins, and their mutual influences on the art of jade-carving in Central Asia and China. The two-day conference consists of a plenary session on the morning of the first day, followed by a number of parallel thematic sessions. For the plenary session, internationally reputable scholars will be invited as keynote speakers. For the parallel sessions, 42 panelists from the Belt and Road region will be invited. Scholars from 32 countries/societies and over 40 universities will share their views on the Belt and Road Initiative, with special reference to the opportunities and challenges it presents to their countries and to Hong Kong. 訃告 Obituaries • 英文系榮譽客座教授David Parker於2015年10月29日在阿德萊德辭世。Parker教授於 2000至2009年擔任英文系系主任，2009至2013年任研究教授。 Prof. David Parker, Honorary Adjunct Professor of the Department of English, passed away on 29 October 2015 in Adelaide. Professor Parker was the chairman of the Department of English from 2000 to 2009, and Research Professor from 2009 to 2013. • 大學圖書館二級圖書館助理員馬嘉誼小姐於2015年11月11日逝世。馬小姐於2007年8 月20日加入中大服務。 Miss Ma Ka-yi passed away on 11 November 2015.
