- Prof. Chan Tak-cheung Anthony, Professor of Clinical Oncology and associate dean (external affairs) of Medicine, has been re-appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as a substantive member of the Human Organ Transplant Board for three years from 15 February 2012.
- Prof. Sian Griffiths, Professor of Public Health and director of the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care, has been appointed as a member of the Working Group on Injuries for two years from 6 February 2012.
