In the summer of 2012, United College organized various exchange programmes and study tours for its students under the Globe Oriented Active Learning Programme (GOAL). Over 220 students received scholarships from the College to participate in these programmes and experienced the cultures of different parts of world, including London, Scotland, Sydney, the Netherlands and Xi'an, China, etc.
