4 4 教職員 Staff 因應個人需要就校方及自己的供款作出投資選擇。爲符合《職業退休計劃條例》中要求公 積金計劃資產値須與成員應得利益相埒，新計劃將以自負盈虧方式運作。新舊計劃之有關 註冊工作正緊密進行。 The mo st s i g n i f i c a nt event i n 1994-95 that a f f e c t ed staff bene f i ts was the amendment of the Staff Superannuation Scheme (1983) and the introduction of the new Staff S u p e r a n n u a t i on Scheme ( 1995) f or the p u r p o se o f c o m p l y i ng w i t h t he Oc c u p a t i o n al Retirement Schemes O r d i n a n ce (ORSO ）. A f t er l e n g t hy a nd careful consideration and consultation w i th staff members, the amendment of the 1983 scheme was a p p r o v ed by a vast majority of scheme members, ma k i ng it possible for the University Council to introduce a new defined contribution scheme, i.e., the n ew Staff Superannuation Scheme (1995) and the alternative gratuity arrangement. Staff members w h o elect to join the n ew scheme w i l l have their individual accounts and can make their o wn investment options in respect of the University's and their o wn contributions to the scheme in order to keep pace w i th salary inflation and/or to suit individual needs. To comply w i t h the solvency requirement of the ORSO and achieve long-term viability, the n ew scheme w i ll henceforth operate on a self-sufficient basis. Registration of bo th the amended 1983 scheme and the new 1995 scheme w i th the Registrar of Occupational Retirement Schemes is underway. 教職員培訓及發展 S t a f f T r a i n i ng a n d D e v e l o p m e nt 本校極重視教職員培訓及發展，經常鼓勵員工進修，以配合不斷改變的工作需要或締 造更佳晉升機會。一九九四至九五年度共有二千六百多名僱員參與不同性質的培訓及發展 計劃，得益匪淺。 •教職員進修計劃：十七位教師及行政人員獲校方或校外基金給與獎助學金、研究 獎學金、特別資助或假期，在本港或海外專上院校進修、受訓，或進行研究工 作。 •暑期海外研究工作特別補助金：校方撥出七十四萬港元，資助廿九項計劃，供教 師於九五年夏季在海外開展優質研究工作。 •會議補助金：校方提供津貼予二百卅三位成功申請者前往海外出席學術或專業會 議。 •按（乙）類及（丙）類服務條例受聘職員進修津貼：各部門均獲分配員工訓練及發展 的預算，以提高僱員的工作技能和知識。本年度共有四十個有關申請獲得批准， 資助總額七萬港元。 •內部培訓計劃：十九位新聘執行助理及事務助理參加由人事處舉辦的行政人員訓 練課程，汲取工作所需之知識及技能；人事處亦爲新聘的文職及秘書僱員，設計 新的入職課程，使有關僱員更了解大學運作和工作要求，以及其他服務條款或員 工福利事宜；此外，共有一千九百多位教職員參加由電算機服務中心舉辦的訓練 課程，以提高電腦操作技巧及應用知識。 •校外進修學院課程減費優惠：三百七十九位教職員曾於年內享用此項優惠，報讀 該院各類課程，收費優惠減至半費；而報—般課程的半費優惠，亦擴展至大學 退休僱員。
