P h i l . in nursing Below: Promotion of the docu-drama series, 'Tides of Life' •護理學系開設全日制註冊前護理學士學位課程；該系首批護理學哲學碩 士誕生。 •藥劑學系完成藥劑學哲學碩士課程籌備工作；該課程於一九九六至九七 年度開設。該系首批藥劑學士到藥廠或醫院實習。 •社區及家庭醫學系開設預防醫學碩士課程。 •成立意外及急救醫學教學單位，附屬外科學系。 •與加拿大亞伯達大學簽訂學術合作協議。 •為本港創立醫學文獻分析及恢復系統 (MEDLARS) 中心和醫藥訊息傳送 站。 •成功施行東南亞首宗兒童異體血幹細胞移植手術。 •攝製醫療實況劇「生命激流」。 •轄下學系與英國及亞洲多國攜手發展遠程醫療。 • The Department o f Nursing launched a full-time pre-registration B.Nurs. programme and produced its first batch of Masters of Philosophy i n nursing. • The Departmen t of Pharmacy finalized preparations of an M.Phil. programme i n pharmacy, to be launched in 1996-97. Its first batch o f B.Pharm. graduates started their internship i n local pharmaceutical factories and hospitals. • The Department of Community and Family Medicine launched a Master of Public Health programme. • A n Accident and Emergency Medicine Academic Unit was established and attached to the Department of Surgery. • A n academic cooperation agreement was signed w i t h the University of Alberta, Canada. • The faculty established the first MEDLARS (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval Systems) Centre and Medical Information Transfer Station i n Ho ng Kong. • The Department of Paediatrics launched th e first successful paediatric allogeneic blood stem cell transplant in Southeast Asia. • The faculty produced a medica l docu-drama series 'Tides of Life' for broadcast on TV. • Departments in th e faculty started developing telemedicine w i t h other Asian countries and th e UK.
