傑 • 出 • 研 • 究 Outstanding Research Project 理學院 生 物 科 學 小 組 致 力 研 究 海 洋 生 物 技 術 , 並 獲 香 港 研究資助局和工業及科技發展局撥款,開展魚類 生長和海洋污染的有關研究, 包括利用遺傳工程 技術製造生長激素、生長因子克隆和性格化、生 長激素受體結構功能分析、 養魚之最佳餵飼和生 長條件,以及香港水域的生態學,毒物指數和污染。 Faculty of Science With funding support from the RGC and the Industrial Technology Development Council, the University's Biological Science Panel has launched a series of aquatic biotechological research focusing on fish growth and marine pollution. Topics include the use of genetic engineering techniques to produce growth hormone, the cloning and characterization of growth factors, structure function study of the growth hormone receptor, optimization of f e e d and growth conditions for fish inc a p t i v i t y ,as well as studying the ecology, pollution, and toxicological index of Hong Kong waters.
