Tschang H s i-lin , M r. L ian g Chi-sen and M r. Cheung Hok-yue. T h e firs t was an a rtistic film en titled "L e s Belles de N u it" , a b rillia n t comedy by Rene C lair. Before screening, M on sie u r M ic h e l M id a n , C u ltu ra l Attache to the Consulate General, gave a b rie f in tro d u c to ry talk. T h e second, “ Les 400 Coups” , directed by Francois T ru ffa u t, was an interesting autobiography. A T h e Depa rtm ent o f M athem atics, Chung Chi College, on 24th Novem ber presented three short colour film s on the pure and applied technological patterns o f the 1960's: 1.
