Yang, Professor of Sociology, New Asia College (picture in Chinese section) Prof. C.K. Yang, a native of Kwangtung Province, obtained his B.A. and M. A. in Sociology at Yenching University, Peking, China in 1932 and 1934 respectively, and his Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Michigan in 1938. Prof. Yang has taught at the University of Washington, Harvar d University, and the University of Hawaii. He is now Professor of Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh, but, for the academic years 1968-69 and 1969-70, he is on leave from Pittsburgh to serve as Professor of Sociology at this University. His major writings in English include many papers and the following books: Religion in Chinese So c i e t y, The Chinese Family in the Communist Revolution, and A Chinese Village in Early Communist Revolution. Mr. Lamp Li, Visiting Lecturer, Lingnan Institute of Business Administration (picture in Chinese section) Mr. Lamp L i, born in 1923, is a native of Hupeh Province. He graduated from National Central University in 1944 with a B.A. degree. — 8 —
