Its principal objectives are: • to undertake and p romote research on accounting disclo sure and corporate governance (AD & CG), wh ose ambit includes accounting standards and practice, rules, guidelines and regulations, and law; • to enhance awareness of the variou s framework and models for AD & CG through enhanced and focused education; • to facilitate better und erstanding of the intricate in ter-relationship between accounting and law within the rubric of corporate governance; • to publish articles, books, monographs and working papers on all aspects of AD& CG in association with the industry and in collaboration with academics; • to promote collaboration between academicsand practitioners, and to establish lin ks with th e regu lator s, the b usin ess commu nity and p ro fessio nal organizations, both domestically and internationally.
