Lecture On Friday, 2nd March, at 11.30 a.m. Professor L. B. Thrower will be delivering a speech on 'Some Encounters with Government over 60 Years' to students of Shaw College in the monthly assembly. Grand Opening On the same day at 4.00 p.m. the official opening of Shaw College will be held in front of Wen Lan Tang on the campus of Shaw College. His Excellency the Governor and Chancellor of the University, Sir David Wilson, and the Patron of Shaw College, Sir Run Run Shaw, will be officiating at the ceremony. It is expected that many distinguished guests from overseas and the local community will attend the function. Members of the University Council, the Board of Trustees of all colleges, the University administration, and staff of the various college offices will also be present.
