The deadline for submission is 30th November 1997. Applications and nominations should be sent to Mr. S.S. Tam, Secretary, Administrative Affairs Committee, c/o Personnel Office, University Administration Building (Ext. 7269). Further enquiries may be directed to the committee secretary. In case of emergency, the guard on duty and KCR staff have access to keys to the gate of the underpass. 冥想的理論和實踐研習班 Meditation Course for Staff and Students 崇基學院宗敎與中國社會硏究中心本月起舉辦冥想硏習班，讓學員深入了解佛敎傳統 中的冥想理論和實踐，親身體驗冥想對鬆弛身心及減壓的功效。 硏習班由妙華佛學會的資深冥想家蕭式球居士任導師，由十一月六日至十二月四日逢 周四下午五時半至六時十五分在中國文化研究所二零一室舉行。歡迎中大員生參加，費用十 元(共五課），報名或查詢詳情，請致電二六零九六四九八或親臨許讓成樓五零三室。 Meditation will be the subject of a course organized by the study group of the Centre for the Study of Religion and Chinese Society. Theory and Practice of Meditation', a non-credit course on meditation, will be run every Thursday evening from 5.30 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. from 6th November to 4th December 1997. To help course participants better understand this important form of religious practice, there will be discussions and practice of meditation under the guidance of instructor Mr. Xiao Shiqiu of the Buddhist Studies Association of the Wondrous Flower. The course is open to both staff and students of the University at HK$10 for five sessions. Classes will take place in Room 201 of the Institute of Chinese Studies. There are six designs, priced at $40 for a package of 10. The FAM has also produced two greeting cards which come in gift packs of 10 cards each at $50 per pack. Overprinting of logos or personalized greetings can be arranged for individual or department orders of over 100 packs (1,000 cards).
