宣 布 事 項 ANNOUNCEMENTS 中大評議會周年會員大會 香港中文大學評議會訂於一九九九年六月二十六日（星期六）下午三時假中環 德輔道中七十七號恒生大廈二十一樓大禮堂，召開周年會員大會，會後設校友茶 會。 中大評議會由全體中大畢業生組成，每年均就不同的專題進行研究，並發表 研究報告或意見書。年內曾先後就《大學校長會三改四工作小組諮詢文件》，及教 統會《教育制度檢討——教育目標》諮詢文件發表意見書，並為傳媒廣泛報導。評 議會在過去一年的活動尚包括籌款支持紅十字會賑濟長江水災，及資助中大學生 今年暑假到內地實習。 評議會歡迎身兼中大校友的中大教職員積極支持會方的活動，並抽空出席本 屆周年會員大會，聽取評議會常委會本年度的工作報告，及參與討論事項，並在 校友茶會與其他校友溝通交誼。 有意出席上述會員大會者，請即聯絡校友事務處（電話二六零九七八七二，傳 真二六零三六二二六）索取「登記出席表格」。填妥之表格須於六月二十五日下午 六時前交回或傳真至校友事務處轉「評議會秘書處」。 儲蓄互助社委員會成員 中大僱員儲蓄互助社一九九九至二零零零年度各委員會之成員為： 理事會 監察委員會 社長：曾偉傑醫生 主席：馬彩嫻女士 副社長：盧達生先生 秘書：蕭明標先生 司庫：鄺芝南先生 委員：林潔蓮女士 秘書：黃李淑儀女士 教育委員會 委員：黃隆先生 主席：王德忠先生 李小紅女士 秘書：蔡玉妍女士 王德忠先生 委員：曾偉傑醫生 貸款委員會 蕭明標先生 主席：陳建榮先生 鄭英傑先生 秘書：陳淑英女士 吳譚慕潔女士 委員：李小紅女士 鄧惠玲女士 文物館展出古代黑釉瓷 Forthcoming Exhibition at the Art Museum 文物館將於七月九日至十一月十四日在該館西 翼展覽廳舉辦「楊永德伉儷珍藏中國古代黑釉瓷展 覽」，展品共一百多項，精選自本港著名收藏家楊 永德伉儷的珍藏，歡迎參觀。 黑釉是古代瓷器的一種常見釉色，釉面呈黑色 或黑褐色，主要呈色劑為氧化鐵及少量的錳、鈷、 銅、鉻等氧化著色劑。黑釉瓷器初現東漢中晚期， 唐代盛行，宋遼金期間達高峰，至明清而不衰。窯 口遍及中國南北各地，各有特色；裝飾技法亦多采 多姿，計有鐵銹花、黑釉醬斑、玳瑁斑、油滴、鷓 鴣斑、兔毫斑、木葉貼花、剪紙貼花、剔釉、堆白 線等，豐富多樣。 是次展品的年代由六朝至明代，內容豐富，從 多方面展示中國古代黑釉瓷的藝術特色和成就。主 要展品包括東晉浙江德清窯天雞壺、唐代河南魯山 窯花釉罐，以及北宋河北磁州窯和定窯、河南寶豐 窯和焦作窯、陝西耀州窯等的黑釉瓶罐或碗等。而西夏寧夏磁窯堡窯的剔牡丹紋 四耳大罎為罕見珍品，金山西懷仁窯的剔花梅瓶亦為少見。此外，又有不少反映 宋代鬥茶風尚的黑釉碗，如河北定窯鐵銹斑碗、河南焦作李封窯油滴碗、福建建 陽窯兔毫紋碗、江西吉州窯貼剪紙或木葉紋碗等。 An exhibition entitled 'Ancient Chinese Black Wares from the Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Yeung Wing Tak' will be on at the West-wing Galleries of the Art Museum from 9th July to 14th November 1999. The exhibition will feature a fine selection o f over 100 pieces of Chinese black wares — ancient Chinese ceramics with black or blackish-brown glaze. The colouring agent of black wares is mainly iro n oxide and perhaps also a small amount of other metallic oxides such as manganese, cobalt, copper, and chromium. In China, black wares first appeared in the mid to late Eastern Ha n period. The production became prevalent in the Tang dynasty, flourished during the Song, Liao and Jin periods, and continued throughou t the Ming and Qing dynasties. 南 宋 江 西 吉 州 窯 黑 釉 貼 剪 紙 梅 花 瓶 Vase with paper-cut design of plum blossoms, Jizhou, Jiangxi, South Song Numerous kilns were located through out areas in the north and the south of China. Diversified styles were achieved by means of various decorative techniques. Well-known designs include brown painting on black, brown dots on black, tortoise-shell patterns, oil-spot designs, hare-fur patterns, and lea f applique. The exhibits date from the Six Dynasties t o the Ming period. Representative pieces include the Eastern Jin dynasty chicken-head ewer from Deqing, Zhejiang province, and the large jar with suffused glaze from Lushan, Henan province , dating back to the Tang dynasty. Rare pieces include the large jar with a sgraffit o peony design from the Ciyaobao kiln in Ningxi a produced in what was then the X i x ia Kingdom, an d the meiping vase from the Huairen Kiln in Shanxi which originated from the Jin Kingdom. In addition , there are many bowls used in tea-brewing competitions fashionable in the Song dynasty with the brown pattern of the Ding ware of Hebei, oil-spo t designs of Lifeng in Henan, hare-fur patterns of Jianyang in Fujian, leaf applique or paper-cut designs of Jizhou in Jiangxi province, etc. The grea t variety of glaze effects demonstrates the stylistic diversity of black wares produced in various periods and region s in China. 金 山 西 懷 仁 窯 黑 釉 剔 纏 枝 花 小 口 瓶 Meiping vase, Huairen, Shanxi, Jin period 新書 New Books 中文系新書 《歲華——香港中文大學三十五年中國語言及文學系教師文藝 作品集》 此書由中國語言及文學系主編，選錄自 中大成立以來，該系教師的文藝作品共二百 多篇。作者共五十八位，包括中大成立時已 在新亞、崇基、聯合三所書院任教的創系元 老，以至近年加入的生力軍，所作裒然成 帙。作品體裁包括古典詩詞、駢文古文、現 代詩、散文、小說等，主要由作者提供，已 謝世或無法聯絡者，則由編委會斟酌延請專 人代選。 中文系系主任鄧仕樑教授在代序中解釋 書名的命意，乃有取於歲有其華之意，「義山 詩云：『地勝遺塵事，身閑念歲華。』世變紛紜，為教師的，不免擾攘 於塵事。中文大學向山面海，居然勝地，則塵事豈不可遺！而三十五 年間，儘有美好的時光，值得存念。尺波電逝，高風是仰，斯文未 沫，俊艾方興。繾綣歲華，其意尤可珍也。」代序中並有各位作者的 簡介，年深日久，人事推移，這些資料特別值得重視。 國際統一書號 962-85009-513 ，一百港元，在富爾敦樓大學書店以 八折發售。 Renditions The following book is published by the Research Centre for Translation and is sold at a 20 per cent discount to staff of the University at the University Bookshop, John Fulton Centre. Renditions No. 51 (Spring 1999) This is a miscellaneous issue featuring humourous writing by some of the best known classical writers such as Han Yu, Yuan Hongdao and L i Yu, as well as writings from the May Fourth generation, and Bai folk literature.
