Information in this section can only  be accessed with CWEM password .   若要瀏覽本部分的資料, 請須輸 入 中大校園電子郵件密碼 。 Service to the Community and International Organizations • Prof. Daniel Shek Tan Lei, professor in the Department of Social Work, has been reappointed by the Chief Executive of the H K S AR as a member of the Independent Police Complaints Council for two year from 1st January 2003. • Prof. Leung Ping Chung, professor o f orthopaedics and traumatology, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the H K S AR as a member o f the University Grants Committee for one year from 1st April 2003. • Prof. Kenneth Young, pro-vice-chancellor, has been re-appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the University Grants Committee for two years from 1st April 2003. • Prof. Jeffrey W i l l i am Cody, associate professor in the Department of Architecture, has been re-appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the Antiquities A d v i s o ry Board for two years f r om 1st January 2003. • Prof. K w o k Siu Tong, professor in the Department of History, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HK S AR as a member of the Antiquities Advisory Board for two years from 1st January 2003. • Prof. Jiang Zhaodong, associate professor in the School o f A c c o u n t a n c y, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the H K S AR as a member of the Panel of the B o a r d o f R e v i ew ( I n l a n d R e v e n ue Ordinance) for three years from 1st January 2003. • Prof. Tung Ho Suk Ching, professor in the D e p a r t me nt o f M a r k e t i n g, has been appointed by the Financial Secretary as a member of the Fish Marketing Advisory Board for one year from 1st January 2003. Prof. Tung has also been appointed by the Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food as a member of the Marketing Advisory Board for one year from 15th February 2003. • Prof. Stephen Chiu Wing Kai, professor in the Department o f Sociology, has been appointed by the Head of the Central Policy Unit as a part-time member of the Central Policy Unit for one year from 1st January 2003. • Prof. David Tsang Sau Cheuk, professor in the Department of Biochemistry, has been re-appointed by the Commissioner o f Narcotics as a member o f the A c t i on C o mm i t t ee A g a i n st N a r c o t i cs Sub- committee on Research for two years from 1st January 2003. • Prof. Anthony P.C. Yim, professor of surgery, has been elected as the chairman of the Specialty Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery, College of Surgeons of Hong Kong for four years from 21st January 2003. • Prof. Rance Lee, professor of sociology, has been appointed as a member of the RGC Travel Grants Joint Selection Committee for the 2003-4 exercise. • Prof. Hung Leung K i m, professor in the D e p a r t m e nt o f O r t h o p a e d i cs a nd Traumatology, has been elected as a college censor o f the H o ng K o n g College o f Orthopaedic Surgeons for two years from 1st January 2003. • Prof. Dennis Lo, professor in the Department of Chemical Pathology, has been appointed to serve as a member of the Management Board of the Institute of Biotechnology. • Prof. Albert Lee, associate professor in the Department o f Commu n i ty and Family Medicine, has been selected as a subject of b i o g r a p h i c al record in Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare 2002-2003 by The Marquis Who's Who Publications Board. • Prof. Wong Chack Kie, professor in the Department o f Social Wo r k, has been appointed by Chongqing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference as a member o f p o l i t i c al participation and consultation for five years from 2003.
