Staff members with any change i n address o r telephone number should also inform the Personnel Office of the same i n writing. The form 'Change o f Personal Data' may be downloaded from the website ( http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/personnel) or obtained from the Personnel Office by calling 2609 7291. Changes of personal data must be reported if they have implications on staffmembers' benefits entitlement at the University. 網上處理校內外服務資料 It'sYOU RDatabas e Use It Now to Record the Services You Render 大學在網上設立了資料庫，紀錄同人的社會及校內服務資料，所有高級導師、 副講師職級或以上的教師，以及甲類(或相類)服務條款的職員可隨時輸入及查閱各 自的服務資料。 資料庫方便易用，可同時紀錄和顯示中英文資料。同人只需以職員號碼及校園 電子郵件系統密碼(註：此密碼有別於 MS Mail 密碼)登入，便可輸入、查閱及整理自 己的服務資料。教學人員更可於年終列印該學年輸入的資料，呈交學系主管，作編 纂學系周年紀錄 (Annual Departmental Records) 之用。 資料庫現時供教職員本人，所屬學系的系主任、 學院/書院院長、部門主管，以及校長查閱，日後並可 能開放予校外人士查看。 各系主任、學院/書院院長和部門主管均已獲發給 其學系/學院/書院的專用登入密碼，如有新任系主任仍 未知悉密碼，請向前任系主任查詢，或致電行政資料 處理組黃燕容女士（內線八九三一)或出版事務處陳偉 珠女士(內線八五八六），要求重新設定密碼。 資 料庫網址為 https://pubnta.pub.cuhk.e du.hk/pub/cas/ cas.htm。 https://pubnta.pub.cuhk.edu.hk/pub/cas /cas.htm This is the website of a database to capture data on staff service to the community and The Chinese University. You have been given your own account to record and manage your data if you are a teacher of assistant lecturer rank or above, or if you are aTerms (A) staff member. Try logging in to your account by typing in your staff ID number and your campus- wide e-mail password. (Note: this password is NOT the same as your MS Mail password.) If in doubt, call Ms. Florence Wong of the Information Management Unit (Ext. 8931) or Ms. Florence Chan of the Publication Office (Ext. 8586). Try inputting some data. You will find the database extremely user-friendly. Press FAQ (i.e., frequently asked questions) i f you don't know how to proceed. You may simply print out your entries a t the end o f the academic year fo r the compilation of your Annual Departmental Records. At this stage, the data you enter can only be viewed by yourself, your department chair/unit head/faculty dean/college head and the vice-chancellor. Supervisory accounts and associated passwords were alloted to these section heads to enable them to view data relevant to their section. I f you have newly been appointed department chair/section head, you should obtain the password from your predecessor. You can also contact Ms. Florence Wong or Ms. Florence Chan i f you want to reset the password. 教職員及教職員配偶普通話和粵語課程 Putonghu an dCantones e Course s fo rCUStaf fand Thei rSpouse s 新雅中國語文研習所定期為本校教職員及其配偶舉辦普通話和粵語課程，二零 零四年第一期的開班資料如下： 課程：（一）供外籍教職員及其配偶選修之初級普通話課程。 (二）供外籍教職員及其配偶選修之初級粵語課程。 (三）供粵籍教職員及其配偶選修之初級普通話課程。 (四）供非粵籍教職員及其配偶選修之初級粵語課程。 日期： A 班：二零零四年一月十三日至三月二十三日（逢星期二、四；四十節） B 班：二零零四年一月十四日至三月二十六日（逢星期三、五；四十節） 時間：下午六時三十分至七時二十分及七時三十分至八時二十分(兩節） 地點：許讓成樓 以上課程每班限額八人，少於六人不開 班，按報名先後錄取。學費 全期五千二 百港元，凡聘任期不少於兩年之本校全職教職員及其配偶而未獲任何語言修習資助 者，可獲大學津貼四成學費。有意就學者請於二零零四年一月二日前與該所聯絡(電 話二六零九六七三一）。其他在職語言培訓課程，可於網址 http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/clc/ e_ssp.htm 閱覽。 The New Asia—Yale-in-China Chinese Language Centre offers putonghua and Cantonese courses t o the University's staff and their spouses on a regular basis. The following courses have been scheduled as follows: Course Titles: (1) Beginner's course in putonghua for non-Chinese speakers. (2) Beginner's course in Cantonese for non-Chinese speakers. (3) Beginner's course i n putonghua fo r speakers o f other Chinese dialects. (4) Beginner's course i n Cantonese fo r speakers o f other Chinese dialects. Duration: Class A: 13th January to 23rd March 2004; 40 sessions Every Tuesday and Thursday Class B: 14th January to 26th March 2004; 40 sessions Every Wednesday and Friday Time: 6.30 p.m. to 7.20 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. to 8.20 p.m. (two sessions) Venue: Hui Yeung Shing Building The size of each class will be limited to eight students. The minimum number o f students to form a class is six. Enrolment will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Basic tuition fee for each course is HK$5,200. The University will subsidize 40 per cent of the tuition fee for all full-time academic and administrative staff, as well as their spouses, who are expected to be with the University for at least two years, and who are not receiving a language study subsidy from any other source.
