Daniel Shek Tan Lei, professor in the Department of Social Work, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR to serve as a membe r o f th e Citizen s Advisor y Committe e o n Communit y Relations o f the ICAC fo r two years from 1s t January 2005 . • Prof . Sun g Yun Wing, chairma n o f Department o f Economics, ha s been appointed as a member o f the Panel on Pan-Pearl River Delt a under the Central Policy Uni t from January 2005 t o 31s t Decembe r 2005. • Prof . Yeung Yue Man, director of Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, ha s been appointed as chairman of the Panel on Pan-Pear l River Delt a under the Central Policy Unit from January 2005 to 31st December 2005 . • Mr . Fon g Wing Ho Tom, student affairs officer, has been appointed by the Permanent Secretar y fo r Economic Developmen t an d Labour (Labour) t o serv e a s a member o f the Committe e o n Employmen t Services of the Labour Advisory Board for two years from 1s t January 2005. • Prof. Wong Tze-wai, professor in the Department of Community an d Family Medicine, has been appointed as a member of the Expert Panel on Ventilation, IAQ and Thermal Comfort of the Buildings Department from 24th September 2004. H e has also been appointed by the Director of Health as a member of the Scientifi c Committee on Advanced Data Analysis an d Disease Modelling o f the Centre for Healt h Protectio n (CHP) o f the Department o f Health from 9t h June 2004. • Prof. Mok Bong-ho, professor in the Department of Social Work, has been appointe d a s a member o f th e Advisor y Committe e o f th e Partnership Fun d fo r th e Disadvantage d fo r tw o year s fro m 1s t February 2005 . • Prof. Chi u Wai Kwun Rossa , associate professor i n the Departmen t of Chemica l Pathology , ha s been admitted a s fellow o f The Hon g Kong College o f Pathologists on 10t h January 2005 . • Prof. Lam Ching Wan Eric, associate professor i n the Department o f Chemical Pathology, has been admitted as a fellow of The Australasian Association o f Clinical Biochemist s o n 22nd September 2004 . • Prof .
