Information in this section can only  be accessed with CWEM password .   若要瀏覽本部分的資料， 請須輸 入 中大校園電子郵件密碼 。 第二九零期　二零零七年一月四日 No. 290 4 January 2007 3 聯 合書院金禧院慶活動於去年底踏入高潮，先 後舉行音樂會和餐舞會，緊接而來的是本月 六日在沙田大會堂演奏廳公演的「水塔下的五星戰 隊」院慶話劇。 五十周年院慶餐舞會 「濃情金禧夜」聯合書院五十周年院慶餐舞會上月 二日假香港君悅酒店舉行，由書院校友會及書院教 職員聯誼會合辦，大學校董會主席鄭維健博士出任餐舞 會榮譽贊助人，書院校董會主席岑才生先生及書院校友 會會長張 煊 昌博士主禮，五百多名校董、校友、大學和 書院同人出席，共賀金禧。 大會當晚安排了書院歷史圖片展覽，並於席上播放懷舊 短片，重溫過去珍貴難忘的生活片段，同時也一起展望 書院未來發展。晚宴由著名演員許冠文校友及蓮花大樂 隊擔任表演嘉賓。 金禧院慶音樂會　 聯合書院金禧院慶音樂會於去年十一月十八日晚假沙田 大會堂演奏廳舉行，當晚全場滿座，逾一千三百名觀眾 入場欣賞。音樂會演出陣容鼎盛，表演者包括：晨興書 院候任院長及中大博文講座教授，一九九六年獲諾貝爾 經濟學獎的莫理斯爵士、日本研究學系水戶考道教授、 校友何永泰先生、伍慶賢同學、梅朗心同學和徐永業同 學、聯合書院金禧合唱團、音樂系中樂合奏小組、崇基 管弦樂團及崇基學院合唱團等。 音樂會尾聲由書院代表上台領導全體觀眾，與聯合書院 金禧合唱團、崇基管弦樂團及崇基學院合唱團共二百多 人共唱聯合書院校歌，場面熱鬧感人。 Golden Jubilee Anniversary Drama The United College Golden Jubilee Anniversary Drama entitled ‘In Search of the V Forces’ (in Cantonese) will be staged on Saturday, 6 January 2007 at 8.00 p.m. at the Auditorium, Sha Tin Town Hall. United College 50th Anniversary Banquet To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of United College, the College Staff Association and the College Alumni Association jointly organized a banquet on Saturday, 2 December 2006 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Dr. Edgar W.K. Cheng, Chairman of the Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, was the Honorary Patron of the evening. Also in attendance were Mr. Shum Choi Sang, chairman of the College Board of Trustees and Dr. Thomas H.C. Cheung, president of the College Alumni Association. Over 500 people, including trustees of the college, officers of the University, alumni and friends of the college were present. To relive memorable moments of the past, there was a picture display at the reception and a video of the college’s history of the past 50 years during dinner. The main entertainment of the evening was a talk show staged by the celebrated comedian Mr. Michael Hui who is also an alumnus of United College. United College Golden Jubilee Anniversary Concert The United College Golden Jubilee Anniversary Concert was held on 18 November 2006, at Sha Tin Town Hall. Performers included Prof. Sir James Mirrlees, the Master-Designate of the Morningside College, Distinguished Professor-at-Large of the CUHK, 1996 Nobel Laureate in Economics; Prof. Takamichi Mito, Department of Japanese Studies; Mr. Allan Ho, United College alumnus; Mr. William Thaddeus Ng, Miss Tabitha Mui and Mr. Francis Tsui, United College students; United College Golden Jubilee Choir; CUHK Music Department Chinese Music Ensemble; CUHK Chung Chi Orchestra and Chung Chi College Choir. The concert played to a full house of over 1,300 audience, including trustees, alumni, university/college staff and friends of the College.
