第 304 期 2007 年10月 4 日 No. 304 4 October 2007 內科及藥物治療學講座教授 Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics 大學委任湯寧信教授為內科及藥物治療學講座教授，任 期由2007年8月1日起生效。 湯寧信教授1993年獲倫敦大學醫學博士學位，曾於多家 英國醫院任職，1990年加入中大，任內科及藥物治療學 系高等講師。湯寧信教授是包括香港內科醫學院、倫敦 皇家內科醫學院等多個英、美及香港醫學組織的院士。 Prof. Brian Tomlinson has been appointed Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Tomlinson received his MD from the University of London in 1993. Prior to joining CUHK as a senior lecturer in 1990, he had worked extensively in a number of British hospitals. He is a fellow of many professional societies, including the Hong Kong Colleges of Physicians, and the Royal College of Physicians of London. 教育行政與政策學講座教授 Professor of Educational Administration and Policy 大學委任汪雅量為教育行政與政策學講座教授，任期由 2007年8月1日起生效。 汪雅量教授在1988年取得美國伊利諾伊大學哲學博士學 位。來港前曾於新加坡及澳洲的大學任教，1994年加入 中大，任教育行政與政策學系講師，2003年起出任該系 系主任至今。 Prof. Allan D. Walker has been appointed Professor of Educational Administration and Policy with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Walker received his PhD from the University of Illinois in 1988. Prior to joining CUHK as a lecturer in 1994, he had taught in universities in Singapore and Australia. He has served as the chair of the Department of Educational Administration and Policy since 2003. 政治與公共行政學講座教授 Professor of Government and Public Administration 大學委任王紹光教授為政治與公共行政學講座教授，任 期由2007年8月1日起生效。 王教授1982年獲北京大學法學士，1990年獲美國康奈爾 大學哲學博士學位，後任教於耶魯大學，1996年任中大 客座教授，1999年正式加入中大，任教於政治與公共 行政學系。王教授並為中、港、台及美國多份學術刊物 編委。 Prof. Wang Shaoguang has been appointed Professor of Government and Public Administration with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Wang received his LLB from Peking University in 1982. After obtaining his PhD from Cornell University in 1990, he taught at Yale University and joined CUHK as a senior lecturer in 1999. Prof. Wang is also an editorial board member of a number of academic journals in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the USA. 校園發展計劃展覽 Campus Master Planning Exhibition 大學成立校園發展計劃督導委員會，旨在為延展至2021年的校園發展總體規劃， 制定全面而具遠見的藍圖。經過嚴謹的甄選過程，大學選出了四家專業顧問公 司，邀請它們提交校園發展計劃的初步建議書。 由顧問公司構思的未來校園模型展覽，於9月24日至10月31日在利黃瑤璧樓地下低 層利希慎音樂廳大堂展出（星期日及公眾假期除外），歡迎到場參觀。展覽開放 時間為上午8時至下午6時。 The Steering Committee on Campus Master Planning was set up with a view to creating a comprehensive and visionary blueprint which will serve as a long-term master plan for campus development up to 2021. After a careful selection process, the University has identified and invited four professional consultants to submit preliminary proposals on conceptual designs of the Campus Master Plan. An exhibition of the proposals of the four consultants is available for your viewing from 24 September to 31 October. The exhibition opens fromMonday through Saturday (except public holidays) from 8 am to 6 pm at the Foyer of Lee Hysan Concert Hall, LG/F Esther Lee Building. 新任講座教授 Professorial Appointments 放射診斷學講座教授 Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Organ Imaging 大學委任區皓智教授為放射診斷學講座教授，任期由 2007年8月1日起生效。 區皓智教授在1985年獲印度孟買大學醫學博士學位，曾 於印度、英國和沙地阿拉伯多家醫院任職。1988年加入 中大任教。區皓智教授也是英國皇家放射科醫學院、香 港放射科醫學院及香港醫學專科學院院士。 Prof. Anil T. Ahuja has been appointed Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Organ Imaging with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Ahuja obtained his MD from the University of Bombay in 1985. Prior to joining CUHK in 1988, he had worked in hospitals in India, England and Saudi Arabia. Prof. Ahuja holds fellowships of the Royal College of Radiologists, the Hong Kong College of Radiologists and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. 中國研究講座教授 Professor of Chinese Studies 大學委任德里克教授為中國研究講座教授，任期由 2007年9月1日起生效。 德里克教授於1973年取得羅徹斯特大學哲學博士學位， 是世界知名的中國研究專家，曾任教於維多利亞大學、 英屬哥倫比亞大學、加州大學洛杉磯分校、杜克大學、 俄勒岡大學等。其《中國共產主義的起源》獲美國圖書 館協會期刊 Choice 選為1989年傑出學術著作。 Prof. Arif Dirlik has been appointed Professor of Chinese Studies with effect from 1 September 2007. A world-renowned expert in Chinese Studies, Prof. Dirlik received his PhD from the University of Rochester in 1973. He had taught at institutions including the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia, UCLA, Duke University, and the University of Oregon. His Origins of Chinese Communism was awarded Outstanding Academic Book for 1989 by Choice . 教育心理學講座教授 Professor of Educational Psychology 大學委任侯傑泰教授為教育心理學講座教授，任期由 2007年8月1日起生效。 侯教授是中大校友，獲本校學士、碩士學位，1992年取 得香港大學哲學博士學位，1988年加入中大，自1995年 起擔任教育心理學系系主任至今，並於2004至2006年出 任逸夫書院學生輔導主任。 Prof. Hau Kit-tai has been appointed Professor of Educational Psychology with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Hau received his BSc and MA from CUHK and his PhD from the University of Hong Kong in 1992. He joined CUHK in 1988 and has been the chair of the Department of Educational Psychology since 1995. He also served as the dean of students of Shaw College from 2004 to 2006. 系統工程與工程管理學講座教授 Professor of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management 大學委任李端教授為系統工程與工程管理學講座教授， 任期由2007年8月1日起生效。 李教授在1987年於美國凱斯西儲大學取得博士學位， 1994年加入中大，任系統工程與工程管理學系副教授， 2003年起出任該系系主任至今。李教授並且是多個專業 學會會員，包括電機及電子工程師學會。 Prof. Li Duan has been appointed Professor of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management with effect from 1 August 2007. Prof. Li received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University in 1987. He joined the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, CUHK in 1994 and has served as the chair of the department since 2003. He is a member of a number of professional societies, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
