While this may seem far-fetched, the reality is that our planet is a mere six degrees Celsius from cataclysmic changes unlike any we have experienced before. National Geographic Channel’s Six Degrees Could Change the World was filmed on five continents, and tracks the world’s top climate researchers and follows ranchers, photographers and everyday people to uncover the warning signs and climate trends. The Hong Kong Observatory supports the ‘Deer in the Box’ Exhibition by providing overviews of the changing trends in Hong Kong climate. Despite worries and fears, Mr. Lam Chiu-ying, the director of Hong Kong Observatory, is not without hope and humour. His thoughts are featured next to the courtyard, where our deer now inhabits.
