Chan had been elected by the members of the Legislative Council, from among their own numbers, as a member of the Council of the University for a period of three years from 26 February 2010. 副校長續任 Reappointment of Pro-Vice-Chancellors 經校長推薦，並依據大學條例第5（6）條及大學規程7規定，校董會再度委任下列人士 續任大學副校長： 楊綱凱教授，任期一年，由2010年8月1日起生效； • 鄭振耀教授，任期二年，由2010年10月1日起生效； • 程伯中教授，任期二年，由2010年8月1日起生效；及 • 許敬文教授，任期二年，由2011年1月1日起生效。 • In accordance with Section 5(6) and Statute 7 of the Ordinance, the Council approved the reappointment of the following persons as Pro-Vice-Chancellors of the University, as recommended by Vice-Chancellor: Prof. Kenneth Young, for a further period of one year from 1 August 2010; • Prof. Jack C.Y. Cheng, for a further period of two years from 1 October 2010; • Prof. Ching Pak-chung, for a further period of two years from 1 August 2010; and • Prof. Michael K.M. Hui, for a further period of two years from 1 January 2011. • 委任書院院長 Appointment of College Heads 依據大學條例規程9第1段及第3段規定，並經大學條例規程9第1段及規程16第6（b）段 所組成的委員會推薦，校董會 委任下列人士為書院院長： 哲學系冼為堅中國文化 • 講座教授信廣來教授繼 黃乃正教授出任新亞書院 院長，任期四年，由2010年 8月1日起生效；及 市場學系教授陳志輝教授 • 繼沈祖堯教授出任逸夫 書院院長，任期四年，由 2010年7月1日起生效。 In accordance with Statute 9.1 and 9.3 of the Ordinance, the following persons have been appointed as Heads of Colleges, as recommended by the respective committees constituted in accordance with Statutes 9.1 and 16.6(b) of the Ordinance: Prof. Shun Kwong-loi, Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture in the Department • of Philosophy, as Head of New Asia College for a period of four years from 1 August 2010, succeeding Prof. Henry N.C. Wong; and Prof. Chan Chi-fai Andrew, professor in the Department of Marketing, as Head of • Shaw College for a period of four years from 1 July 2010, succeeding Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung. 委任書院候任院長 Appointment of Masters-Designate for Colleges 經校長於諮詢有關書院之籌 劃委員會後推薦，校董會通 過委任大學副校長兼物理學 講座教授楊綱凱教授為敬文 書院候任院長，另委任社會學 榮休講座教授李沛良教授為 伍宜孫書院候任院長。 As recommended by the Vice- Chancellor after consulting the planning committees of the Colleges concerned, the Council has approved the appointment of Prof. Kenneth Young, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Physics, as Master-Designate of C.W. Chu College, and Prof. Rance P.L.
