At The 4th China College Students’ ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition held at Xiamen University in October, CUHK team Titanology clinched the Gold Award with its invention of the self-disinfecting door handle. Also proving victorious was another social enterprise Mushroom-X, which won the Gold Award in the China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition in 2018 hosted by the Zhejiang University in early November. The enterprise is dedicated to cultivating mushrooms from organic waste, which may be used as food, compost, biological feed or plastic substitutes. 瑜亮對決 The Dream Match 中大及港大於11月18日在中大上演第十五屆 兩大校長盃教職員足球友誼賽，為兩大校長 上任後首次對壘。經過激烈較勁，中大勝港 大二比零。連同此次賽事，中大共贏十場、港 大勝一場，四次打成平手。 為促進兩校友誼和誌念中大五十五周年校 慶，段崇智校長特意穿上校慶「特別紀念版」 球衣出席開球禮，並致贈一件校慶球衣予港 大校長張翔教授。  CUHK and The University of Hong Kong (HKU) staged the 15th Two Universities Vice- Chancellors’ Cup Soccer Match on CUHK campus on 18 November. This is the first game since the two Vice-Chancellors took office, and after a heated contest, CUHK claimed a 2:0 win over HKU. Including the game today, CUHK has won ten games, HKU has won one, and the teams have tied four times. To commemorate the friendship between two universities and celebrate CUHK’s 55th anniversary, Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK wore a ‘special edition’ jersey to attend the kick-off ceremony and presented one to Prof. Zhang Xiang as a souvenir.
