Prof. Chau Kwai-cheong, adjunct associate professor in the Department of Geography and Resource Management, has been appointed as a member of the Town Planning Board and a member of the Rural and New Town Planning Committee of the Board for two years from 1 April 2012.
Prof. Chiu Siu-wai, associate professor in the School of Life Sciences, has been appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as a member of the Agricultural Products Scholarship Fund Advisory Committee for two years from 1 April 2012.
Prof. Chu Ka-hou, director and professor in the School of Life Sciences, has been appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as a member of the Marine Fish Scholarship Fund Advisory Committee for two years from 1 April 2012.
Prof. Ho Puay-peng, director and professor in the School of Architecture, has been appointed as a member of the Town Planning Board and a member of the Metro Planning Committee of the Board for two years from 1 April 2012.
Prof. Lee Kim-keung James, honorary adjunct professor in the School of Architecture, has been appointed by the Deputy Secretary for Development as a member of the Authorized Persons', Registered Structural Engineers' and Registered Geotechnical Engineers' Disciplinary Board Panel for three years from 1 April 2012.
Prof. Lim Wan-fung Bernard Vincent, professor in the School of Architecture, has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR as a member of the Hong Kong Housing Authority for two years from 1 April 2012.
