Prof. Michael Y. Wang (left) of Mechanical and Automation Engineering received the Best Conference Paper Award in the 2007 International CAD Conference and Exhibition held in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, from 25 to 29 June 2007. The title of the paper is “A CAD Modeling System for Heterogeneous Objects,” by Xiaojun Wu, Weijun Liu, and Michael Y. Wang. The International CAD Conference and Exhibition is a premier annual conference aimed at CAD researchers, educators, developers, vendors, and the business community dealing with CAD technology and its financial issues.
