CUHK Kickstarts Pandemic Relief Fund

The CU RElief Fund (CURE Fund) will be established to assist CUHK members with financial needs under the pandemic. It is hoped that this fund will encourage the CUHK community to get together as we sail through this crisis and those ahead.

To kickstart the fund, Vice-Chancellor and President Prof. Rocky S. Tuan and all seven Pro-Vice-Chancellors/Vice-Presidents will donate 15% of their monthly salaries for the remainder of this year. Contributions from members of staff, alumni and friends of CUHK are most welcome. There will be no upper limit to the fund, and a management committee chaired by a Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President will work out the specifics on fundraising, application and distribution. Further details will be announced in due course.
