Utility Patents Laurel for CUHK
Among the world’s top 100 universities granted US utility patents in 2019 as announced by the National Academy of Inventors and the Intellectual Property Owners Association in the US, CUHK landed the 71th spot. Referencing the data from the US Patent and Trademark Office, the report ranks the universities named as the first assignee on utility patents granted by the Office in the year, highlighting universities’ contributions to research and innovation.
