Through the Eyes of Your Heart
A visually impaired psychotherapist on overcoming adversity
The Office of Student Affairs organized the ‘Celebrity Talk: Through the eyes of your heart’ presented by Ms. Jennifer Wong on 29 October via Zoom. Jennifer is the first visually impaired psychotherapist in Hong Kong and founder of Social Enterprise Codekey Cookies. In the talk, Jennifer shared on how she opened the eyes of her heart to break boundaries and explore the world in spite of vision loss. She also encouraged CUHK students to reach out to friends and stay positive when facing challenges under the pandemic. The Office of Student Affairs also ordered cookies with ‘C’ and ‘U’ in braille on them as gifts for the participants to spread the message of social inclusion.
