Ten outstanding CUHK scholars receive accolades from RGC

Ten outstanding scholars from CUHK received the Senior Research Fellow Scheme and Research Fellow Scheme awards, and the Early Career Award and Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship from the Research Grants Council (RGC) in recognition of their excellent achievements in their research areas.

Launched in 2020–21, RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme and Research Fellow Scheme support each awardee with a fellowship grant for over a period of 60 months to cover salary costs for relief teachers and support for research projects, as a means to facilitate their dedication to research.

The RGC Early Career Scheme aims to assist junior academics, while the Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme aims at granting extended time-off and supporting funds to outstanding investigators under the disciplines of the Humanities and Social Sciences Panel to enable them to focus on research work and writing.
